Akipro was founded in March 1993 by Ar. Simon Goh and Ms. Lim Geok See. The office is driven by a passion for excellence in both design and professional service. With a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, and extensive UK industry experience, Ar. Simon Goh brings a global perspective to our practice.

In 2024, Simon Goh’s daughter joined the Akipro ranks after earning her Master’s degree from the Glasgow School of Art, bringing a fresh design perspective to the practice. Her addition marks a new chapter in expanding our family business, blending contemporary innovation with our longstanding architectural values.

Our team is the backbone of our success, comprising dedicated professionals who bring expertise and creativity to every project. We have a strong architectural team of four project architects and four Part 1- Part 2 architects, supported by six skilled draftsmen. Additionally, our administrative staff and human resources team ensure smooth operations.

Our portfolio spans a diverse range of projects, including hotels, mixed-use commercial developments, condominiums, office buildings, institutional structures, residential communities, industrial parks, and recreational facilities. Every project we undertake is a testament to our commitment to delivering thoughtful architectural solutions that serve clients, end-users, and the environment while upholding social, cultural, and economic values.

We believe in strong foundations, much like the square, prioritizing practicality, durability, and timeless appearance. Our designs foster unity, akin to the circle, creating spaces that encourage community and adaptability.
